My Story

THIS IS MY STORY

Dr. Carol Natasha Diviney, a distinguished PhD in Philosophy and Neuroscientist, is deeply invested in exploring the intersection of philosophy, neuroscience, and mental health. Her pioneering research delves into how brain development and activity influence moral choices, behavior, and mental well-being.

Valuing human life, nature, and natural living, Dr. Diviney is an innovator in person-centered, complex life-limiting healthcare. She firmly believes that the art of healing stems from nature and that one must approach it with an open mind. Alongside her academic and professional pursuits, Dr. Diviney is also a gifted writer who discovered her talent early in life.

Her impressive qualifications include:
- Poetry Performance and Arts Management from the Institute of Mental Health
- Level 3 in Art Therapy
- Certified Colour Therapy Practitioner
- Expertise in Neuroplasticity Practice
- Completion of Surprising Ideas: Inspired by Artw ith Christie’s Education

Dr. Diviney’s commitment to human life extends to her role as a United Nations Volunteer, where she works tirelessly to support humanitarian causes. She is trained in supporting victims of domestic abuse and crisis management, skills she honed through Sheffield University. Her extensive experience spans health, voluntary, and charity sectors, having served in hospital and community settings, project management, and advisory roles under the Department of Education. Her previous work involved offering guidance to service users, patients, and carers, alongside coordinating fundraising efforts and maintaining detailed data systems.

An advocate for mental health, Dr. Diviney’s expertise includes:

- Health and safety policy implementation
- Studies in Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, Social Science, and Early Childhood Development

Dr. Diviney is also well-versed in key guidance frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act, the Care Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DOLS), having achieved Level 3 certification in this area.
